No Need to Exclude - The Inclusion Toolkit

We are very pleased to announce the Launch of the 'No Need to Exclude' Toolkit developed to support Devon's commitment to reduce exclusions.

The toolkit has been produced by schools and professionals working across Devon who have given up their time to attend consultation and listening events and provided case studies and examples of good practice. In producing the toolkit, we have also sought the views of children and young people who have been excluded from the school system in order to find out first hand where we could have done better.

DFE Guidance for Schools on Leaving the EU

As you are no doubt aware, Lord Agnew wrote to all schools, LA's and Multi Academy Trusts on 17 September 2019.  The purpose of the letter was to ensure that all schools have seen the DfE guidance in the event that the UK leaves the EU with no deal on 31 October.  Schools, LA's and Multi Academy Trusts have also been asked to complete a survey to inform the DfE on their readiness in the event of a no-deal situation.

The latest guidance can be found here and covers data protection, food and medical supplies etc.
