Our Aiming for Outstanding policy aims to raise standards of attainment and improve rates of progress for all pupils

Latest data has shown that KS2 combined performance in those schools receiving intensive and focused support has increased by 7%.

These schools have benefitted from an allocated School Improvement Adviser, bespoke support, project boards and free access to training modules – CPD pathways to progress.
The offer of an allocated School Improvement Adviser, bespoke support and free access to training modules has now been extended to category 3 (light-touch) schools. This is to help raise achievement in KS2 within this category of school where data has shown that rates were not improving.

Click here for information on Aiming for Outstanding; the policy, outline of what each categorisation signifies, support available in each category and training modules.
