Curriculum Intent

As part of our ongoing support for schools we have developed this Curriculum Intent online learning module, to help you to think about how your school will develop a strong curriculum intent by looking at the School Inspection Handbook and Inspecting the Curriculum framework in detail.

It is in response to the development of our curriculum review tool and how useful it has been hearing schools' articulation of their curriculum design and their intentions for their learners. Our recent inspection experience has indicated that it is helpful for all school staff to be able to understand this, talk about it and then demonstrate how this is delivered.

(This module 1 is available to Devon maintained schools free of charge as part of the DCC commissioning framework – if you have not already received your copy (link) via email, please contact BabcockEducationSW@babcockinternational.com)
