Calling all Food and Drink Businesses in Louth...

You are invited to our Food and Drink business engagement meeting on Tuesday 4th Feb at 18:30.

The Vital and Viable report for Louth identified Food and Drink alongside Marketing as key areas to focus on. Therefore East Lindsey District Council (ELDC) has joined forces with Taste Lincolnshire to encourage Food and Drink businesses in Louth to come together to look at joint promotional opportunities, attendees will be invited to share ideas and help shape future activity.

Taste Lincolnshire continues to go from strength to strength in the county - and are delighted to be able to work directly with ELDC and the many food, drink and hospitality businesses in Louth and the surrounding area to promote the outstanding products and services this sector has to offer.

Louth and the Lincolnshire Wolds are synonymous with excellent quality food and drink - and have rightly been long thought of as the artisan food capitals of Lincolnshire. Taste Lincolnshire look forward to working with proactive businesses in the area to collaboratively champion and promote Lincolnshire food and drink, and to pull together a campaign of activity for 2020 which will deliver real tangible benefits for the businesses involved.

This scheme of activity will commence with a business engagement evening on Tuesday 4th February - and interested businesses are invited to come along and hear more about Taste Lincolnshire, Vital and Viable Louth, and our plans for promoting quality, locally sourced food and drink in 2020.  We're delighted that Amy from Bottomley Distillers will also be sharing the story of Pin Gin and Beyond.

The event will take place from 18:30 - 20:00 on Tuesday 4th February at Bottomley Distillers, 6 Bolingbroke Ct, Bolingbroke Rd, Louth LN11 0ZW. Refreshments will be provided including fresh wood-fired pizza from The Wood Shed Pizza. To book your place please follow this link:

The initial plan for Taste Lincolnshire working in partnership with Louth & The Lincolnshire Wolds includes the origination of a unique 'experience' that encourages footfall into the area  in the form of a new interactive food trail;  creative, engaging social media and online activity,  the development of new marketing assets, and a presence at The Lincolnshire Show in the Lincolnshire Food Court and Lincolnshire Kitchen area.

Details about an incentivised package to join Taste Lincolnshire as a partner can also be heard on the night.
