Dear school/setting colleagues,

Unlike our usual monthly bulletins, which are packed full with training opportunities and new product news, we are writing this month to give you an update on:

  • how we are supporting schools, parents and children and young people during this lockdown period
  • the launch of our new SHOP
  • academy and MAT purchasing for 2020/21
  • our training and conference programme

Coronavirus: support for schools, parents and pupils

We have created a number of webpages to help support you and your parents with home learning, information about COVID-19 and government updates.

Many of our teams have been contributing information, guidance, useful links and teaching resources to use with all pupils, pupils with a SEND and pupils for whom English is an additional language.

New shop launched

We are pleased to announce the launch of our new SHOP this month. 

We have combined our e-store (consultancy and subscription products), our CPD online site (training and conferences) and our digital resources shop into one easy to use platform.  With a single site login, you can purchase all your Babcock LDP education services and professional development on the one site.

Academy and MAT purchasing for academic year 2020/21

When you are ready to start thinking about the services you will need next academic year, the SHOP is open for you to begin browsing.  A new feature is the use of wish lists.  You are able to create and manage wish lists in your school account and when you are ready to purchase, you can simply add items to your basket from your wish lists.

Here is a copy of the new Directory of Education Services.

When we are back in our offices, we will be posting a hard copy version to all Devon, Plymouth and Torbay schools.

Training and Conferences postponement

In light of the ever changing priorities and circumstances for schools, academies and settings both now and in the future, Babcock LDP have taken the decision to postpone all Training and Conference events until 31 August 2020.

We will inform you in due course of future dates for all postponed events once they become available. If Government advice changes then we will review this and be back in touch.

In the meantime we would like to thank you for your patience and understanding at this time.
