Leeds awarded Gold for teaching excellence
|

The University of Leeds has achieved a Gold rating - the highest standard possible - in the new Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) .
Introduced by the Government as a means to assist prospective students make informed choices, the TEF uses a set of measures that focus on student satisfaction, retention rates and graduate employability. In its assessment of Leeds, the panel found the University delivers "consistently outstanding teaching, learning and outcomes for its students of the highest quality found in the UK". Find out more.

New degree apprenticeship with PwC launched

The University of Leeds has partnered with PwC - one of the UK's largest graduate employers - to create a new fully-funded technology degree apprenticeship. Starting in September 2018 BSc Computer Science (Digital & Technology Solutions) will initially accept 40 students onto the four year course which combines undergraduate study with practical work-based projects at PwC in Leeds.
The University and the professional services firm have worked closely to develop a syllabus which prepares students with the right skills for the future, in an area which is becoming increasingly in demand. Find out more.

| Results day: confirmation, clearing and adjustment |

Once your students have their exam results they should check UCAS Track to see if they have been accepted onto their chosen course at Leeds. If UCAS Track has not been updated, applicants can call our confirmation hotline on 0370 121 5122.
We expect to have vacancies in Clearing for high achieving students with excellent exam results. Students looking for a place at Leeds can call us on 0370 126 0606 from 7am on Thursday 17 August to find out about the opportunities available.
Our phone lines this year will be open as follows:
Thursday 17 August: 7am - 5pm
Friday 18 August: 8am - 4pm
Monday 21 August to Friday 25 August: 9am - 5pm
In the meantime students can visit our Clearing microsite www.leeds.ac.uk/clearing. These webpages provide advice to prepare them for results day, a registration form to sign up for an email alert when Clearing vacancies are released, advice for confirmation and accommodation information.

| Autumn open days 2017 |

| Our next undergraduate open days will take place on Saturday 9 September and Saturday 7 October.
We are now taking bookings for both dates. Students wishing to attend can find further information on our Open Day website where they can also book their place online. |
