Would you like to organise a visit to your school or arrange a Higher Education Experience Day on campus for your students? We are now taking bookings for 2018/19. CPD webinars for teacher and advisors

Our programme of after-school webinars returns with the following sessions:

Applying to medicine: Wednesday 21 November 2018, 15:30pm - 16:15pm. An overview of the selection process at Leeds, including shortlisting, interview and offer making.

Preparing your students for their medicine interview: Tuesday 4 December 2018, 15:30pm - 16:15pm. Explores the types of interviews and interview questions your students can expect and how they can prepare.

The Plus Programme: targeted student support: Thursday 17 January 2019, 15:30pm - 16:15pm. Find out about the University's provision of targeted, on course support to students from under-represented groups.

Routes into nursing: Tuesday 12 February 2019, 15:30pm - 16:15pm. Learn more about the developing role and education of nursing and the different pathways of entry to our degree programmes at Leeds.

Stand Alone Pledge

Do you teach or support estranged students (those studying without the approval or support of a family network)? The University of Leeds has signed the Stand Alone Pledge - a commitment to developing support in higher education for estranged students. Find out more about our pledge, the details of our current provision and the new initiatives planned for estranged students enrolling with us.

Reach for Excellence

We are now recruiting for a new cohort of Year 12 students for our flagship widening participation scheme, Reach for Excellence. This programme supports young people who demonstrate the potential to study at a top university but may not consider research intensive higher education to be an option for them. Applications close on Friday 16th November at 12pm. For further information, eligibility criteria and application forms, please visit the Student Talent Spotting Team website.

Save the date: Teachers' Conference 2019

The University's annual conference will take place on campus on Wednesday 15 May 2019. Further information will be published on our Teachers' webpages shortly.
