Symptoms
A general confusion and need to refer to the glossary every time you read a report due to the over-use of acronyms (noun. An abbreviation formed from the initial letters of other words and pronounced as a word e.g. HEP, LEP).
Who gets AF?
Most people are likely to have experienced AF at some time.
What causes AF?
People trying to save time and space by not writing words out in full, which inadvertently put up barriers to those not used to our jargon.
How is AF treated?
Always write in plain English and do not assume that other people understand your jargon.
