22,000 learners benefit from NCOP Phase 1

Over 22,000 young people across 27 target ward schools and colleges in West Yorkshire have benefited from NCOP Phase 1.

The project also engaged with over 11,302 students in sustained activity throughout the past two years.

Students graduate from collaborative residential summer school

Ninety students from ten schools and colleges across West Yorkshire enjoyed a programme of activities that was designed to provide an immersive HE experience.

The young people attended our 'Class of 2025' Collaborative Summer School, which was held between 16-17 July 2019.

Partners give region plenty to celebrate on Yorkshire Day
 
Recent graduates and college leavers from our partners have got plenty to celebrate this Yorkshire Day (1 August).
 
As they move into employment, the wide range of expertise they offer will make them highly sought after by employers. Many will also be able to help plug the region's skills shortages.

Students choose to go to university for a variety of reasons, including to get a 'good job'. Leeds Beckett University is keen to build awareness of career options by developing employer partnerships wherever possible.
