Follow-up works

After the 10-day closure we will also carry out follow up works. These will take place on the following dates and will affect train services in the Guildford area:
  • Saturday, 25 and Sunday, 26 April 2020
  • Saturday, 16 and Sunday, 17 May 2020
What will we be doing?
We will be undertaking the biggest track improvements in the Guildford area for almost 40 years.  This includes upgrading track and conductor rail along with replacing track circuits. As the work gets underway, we will be tweeting photos and providing updates on the work.

Finally, all information we gather helps us to ensure we are prepared ahead of a major line closure and helps us to plan for the future.  If you have a few moments, we would really appreciate you completing our survey to ensure we take on board all of your comments.
