Harborough District Council Economic Development Team are aware that a limited range of new government grants are being introduced to support businesses through the current Lockdown period.

However, we are still awaiting the guidance and eligibility criteria relating to these grants.

We will add information to our website and update businesses via future bulletins, social media and the press as soon as we have further details.

In the meantime, if you wish to register your interest, please email Covid19discretionarygrantsupport@harborough.gov.uk.

We would also request that you do not contact Customer Services at Harborough District Council about this, as they are busy dealing with many other enquiries.

Adapting your business in Lockdown
As we go into lockdown, businesses are again adapting to reach their customers further.

If your business has a website, this is a great opportunity to publish a virtual insight as to what is in your shop or what offers you have now, whilst your customers cannot reach you in person.

A video around the store? Upload an Instagram post of your most popular products?
Engage with your customers queries and even sell online or over the phone?

There are numerous ways to keep your business going and functioning during lockdown.

If you do not have a website and would like to publicise your business online, share your photographs, videos and promotional offers with us via email or our Visit Harborough instagram page, featured below.
