Leader of the Council, Councillor Craig Leyland, has issued a statement following the Government's latest announcement on Covid-19 restrictions.
In the statement he has called on all residents to play their part in the fight against the pandemic; urging everyone to follow the latest measures announced by the Government and to help protect our vulnerable residents, to support our local businesses and to do all we can to avoid a return to the situation we saw in the Spring.
We've recently launched our Shop Local, Stay Safe, Be Kind campaign which aims to encourage residents and visitors to safely rediscover our wonderful market towns.

Targeted dredging will commence at the end of the month along sections of the Wainfleet Relief Channel and Steeping River. The dredging forms part of a new Catchment Action Plan (CAP) launched by partners in April following the flooding last year in Wainfleet and surrounding area. The Environment Agency, Lindsey Marsh Drainage Board, Lincolnshire County Council and ourselves have all contributed money towards the dredging. Read More
