Economic recovery the focus of 2021/ 22 draft budget

We are inviting residents, businesses, and interested parties to have their say on our draft budget proposals for 2021/2022.

We continue to face financial uncertainty, especially in terms of central government funding and recognise the unprecedented challenges faced by all residents and businesses in the district.

This budget will look at redressing the imbalance created by the COVID-19 pandemic and focus on financial support to underpin economic recovery whilst ensuring we remain financially resilient and able to deliver the services we have to by law, including support to the most vulnerable residents.

We, at SO Festival, are putting Lincolnshire at the front. We're joining in, reaching out, seeing past and getting through. Providing you with extraordinary, local and
international entertainment all year-round, in person and online.

We want to show you the positive impact we've had connecting with our communities, supporting local creatives, going international and our commitment to
reducing our environmental impact. So, we've created a series of videos to help us explain and showcase what we do.

You are the reason we exist, you are the support we need to continue to provide cultural artistic entertainment locally, in your community, to your front door, to your
SOfa.

Ready, steady, census

The 2021 census is almost upon us.

Households across East Lindsey will soon be asked to take part in the nationwide survey of housing and the population. It has been carried out every decade since 1801, with the exception of 1941.

Information from the digital-first census will help decide how services are planned and funded in your local area. This could mean things like doctors' surgeries, housing or new bus routes.

Households will receive a letter with a unique access code in the post, allowing them to complete their questionnaire online. Paper questionnaires will be available on request. Census day is March 21.

For more information, visit census.gov.uk.
