Dear Amy

I hope you and your families are keeping safe and well.

During the current four-week lockdown, we're able to keep the majority of our services such as repairs running for our customers. We're continuing to follow the strict safety measures we already have in place,
in line with the government's Covid-secure guidelines.

We continue to build more local, affordable homes. We have big plans, as our ambition is to build 1,000 more homes in our local areas by 2025.

Housing associations play an important role investing in our communities as anchor institutions. We're employers, builders, partners and placemakers. You can read more about what we've been up to and how we're supporting customers and staff during the pandemic on our website and social media channels.

Best wishes

Barry Hughes
Group chief executive

Congratulations Kate!

We are delighted that Kate Tivney, the volunteer chair of our tenant scrutiny board has been named as one of the UK's twenty most inspiring women leaders working in social housing by Inside Housing Magazine.

Selected from over 350 nominations, judges commented on Kate's ability to find new ways to enhance the work that was done as the team embraced digital communications.

"She seems to have demonstrated a great deal of impact in making sure the tenant's voice wasn't being lost in the pandemic."

Rt Hon Dr Andrew Murrison, MP for South West Wiltshire visits new Selwood Housing homes

We'll soon be handing over the keys to 21 affordable homes at the former Margaret Stancomb school in Trowbridge.

The site had been derelict for over ten years before being acquired by us. The regeneration represents a total investment of £4 million in our local community and has supported 65 jobs.

#HomesAtTheHeart Campaign

Funding for social housing has never been more crucial in ensuring everyone has a safe place to call home.

Along with the National Housing Federation we're calling for a once-in-a-generation investment in social housing and the people who live in it.

We're proud to have provided a home for many people this year who may otherwise have been at risk of homelessness.
