Harbs Collective wants to hear from you!

Market Harborough's group of small and unique independent businesses have put together a survey with Harborough District Council, to give local shoppers the opportunity to have their say about the way that they shop and engage with their businesses.

The survey is designed to help the retailer group understand what you would like to get out of your town centre. More specifically the shopping experience, services, and events that Harbs Collective provide throughout the year.

We are encouraging people who visit the town centre in various ways to take part in the survey and enable Harbs Collective to continue to serve the community in a way that is unique and caters to the needs of those local and from further afield.

Harbs Collective say

"The way we shop has changed in the wake of COVID-19, and as such Market Harborough's independent retailers need to make sure that we adapt to that change but without losing the charm of our high street and sense of local community. That's why Harbs Collective would love our shoppers and visitors to complete this survey so that everything we do moving forward responds to our community's needs and makes sure the town is a vibrant and inviting place to visit for everyone."

Complete our short survey and encourage others to do the same via the link below

Tackling Plastic Packaging - Grants Opportunity
The Government has announced that it is looking for innovative solutions to tackle the world-wide problem of plastic packaging.

To help encourage this, it is making £7m available from its Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund for research and development projects which can 'significantly impact' the targets set by the 2025 UK Plastic Pact.

If you think your organisation can demonstrate an innovative concept that will lead to improved packaging recycling or re-use, compared to existing re-use and recycling concepts of the same capacity - then this is a fantastic opportunity for you!

The deadline for applications is 11am on 8 September

For a more in-depth review of the parameters needed for a successful application, and info on how to apply, click the link below.
