#MyHiddenGems
Local cafes, restaurants, attractions and night-time venues will be celebrated through a new campaign throughout the summer, to help raise the profile of small businesses.
The FSB campaign is encouraging the public to share their favourite businesses across social media, tagging the business if they have a handle, and sharing it with all their friends and followers.

Encourage your customers, followers, friends and family to get involved. You can also shout out your favourite businesses to support the sector! Use the hashtag #MyHiddenGems

Tag in Visit Harborough on social media and we will share as well.

Make your business accessible
One in five people in the UK have an impairment, which may affect where they choose to stay or visit. Improving your accessibility benefits all customers and does not always require major or expensive changes – simply providing a free Accessibility Guide for your venue can help you be more inclusive for people with a wide range of visible and hidden impairments.

Visit Britain have guidance, tools and resources to help you provide access for all.

Get sustainable with Zellar - One year free subscription
The Business Gateway is giving 100 local companies the chance to use a brand new digital platform to monitor and reduce their carbon emissions in a pioneering green initiative.

The 'sustainability as a service' platform, called Zellar, enables a business to identify its carbon impact and then provides a bespoke plan to reduce it including advice on how to offset emissions, how to find sustainable energy providers and also how to change behaviour among employees.  Businesses in the same sectors will be able to see how their peers are performing and share good practice.
