Works start on landmark College and Public Sector Hub

Works are now underway on the development of a new Further Education College and Public Sector Hub on Horncastle's Mareham Road.

The development will see a new education facility, operated by Boston College, built alongside a Public Sector Hub that will be home to East Lindsey District Council and partner organisations.

Green Homes Grant Phase 2 - Now open 

Phase 2 of the Green Homes Grants is now open for applications in advance of the launch in July 2021. This means that applications are now open to all property owners and landlords with properties in East Lindsey.

Funding boost to ensure nobody needs to sleep rough in Lincolnshire

Coastal Resorts retain Blue Flag status

The beaches we manage at Skegness, Mablethorpe, and  Sutton on Sea have all retained their Blue Flag Awards, which recognises water quality, facilities, beach safety, environmental education and management of the beaches.

There have been a number of successes over the past year that bring the Steeping Catchment Action Plan to life.

The most visible being targeted dredging, something that partners knew the community wanted to see and only became possible thanks to financial contributions.

Building on five years of success, Keep Britain Tidy, have set these dates for its sixth annual mass-action environmental campaign, the Great British Spring Clean.

RNLI lifeguards return to service as survey shows 30m plan to visit coast this summer

RNLI lifeguards have returned to service on Lincolnshire's beaches, as a new study reveals around 30 million people plan to visit the UK coast this summer.

As of May 29, the Lifeguards will provide a full-time lifesaving service at Skegness and Mablethorpe, with Ingoldmells and Sutton-on-Sea on service in time for the school summer holidays.
