Works to install a new Astroturf pitch at Louth's London Road Pavilion were completed earlier this month.

Earlier in the year, we agreed to support operators Magna Vitae and Louth Hockey Club, one of the site's principal users and co-funders of the project, with funding to replace previous pitch which had reached the end of its life after 20 years.

The much-loved facility is now back in use, with Louth Hockey Club given the honour of being the first users of the new surface for their open day at the start of the month.

You can find out more about the project on Magna Vitae's website at the link below.

People, wildlife, plants, and the economy depend on a healthy and thriving water environment. With ongoing travel limitations due to Coronavirus, it's predicted that this summer will see a huge increase in visits to beaches, rivers, and lakes. The Environment Agency's Great British Staycation #WaterWarriors campaign aims to equip people with the info they need to make the most out of their trips and take action to protect water quality.

You can find out more about the #WaterWarriors campaign here.
