The purple-lidded bins will be rolled out across East Lindsey next month and residents will also receive a notification that they will be able to recycle glass items in their grey recycling bins at home. The paper mill has reported that over 98.5% of the paper and card collected on this scheme in Lincolnshire is of great quality for recycling. By putting the Right Thing in the Right Bin and keeping paper and card separate in these new purple-lidded bins, we can all help lower contamination and make sure more items can be recycled.

The Council has made over 44,000 payments already, mainly to those who pay their Council Tax by direct debit. We have written to nearly 20,000 taxpayers who we have not been able to pay, asking them to complete an online form to provide their bank details.  So far over 10,000 people have completed the form.  Once you have completed the form it will take approximately two weeks for you to receive your payment.

Lincolnshire Good Homes Alliance Survey needs your views!

Lincolnshire County Council are working with the Centre for Ageing Better to explore how we can support residents to repair and improve their homes, including making adaptations so that people can live independently. We would really like to hear your experiences and views about completing work to your home. Hearing your views and experiences will help us to develop a new initiative aimed at people who live in Lincolnshire. This is intended to help residents more easily access information and support with maintaining and adapting their homes.
