We found many customers booked both our Course Manager Training in SIMS and our Post-16 Learning Aims Training, so we've listened to your feedback and combined them into one course.
And if you just need training in Course Manager, but your school has no post-16 provision, you can book on for the morning only. These courses are filling up quickly so please take the time to asses your requirements and book your spot!

Updated Scomis Terms & Conditions for Schools buying Hosted Applications
We have updated our Terms & Conditions (Ts&Cs) to enable Scomis to fix broken B2B links between the School and Devon County Council. This change is relevant with immediate effect to establishments using SIMS with children and young people for whom Devon Local Authority is responsible. These Ts&Cs will be updated for all other customers at renewal. |

Update to SIMS Homepage
ESS have added a new widget to their homepage that ensures all school users can view and access specific information about SIMS, especially NextGen products.
This is based on relevant newsfeeds that are posted to Service Now within the last 90 days. This widget is available for all SIMS users and is set to active, by default. |

I've noticed some differences on the Microsoft Edge browser in Scomis' Hosted Application Service - can you tell me about them please?
I'm glad you asked! Now that Internet Explorer 11 has gone end of life (see here) we have deployed Microsoft’s new Edge Chromium browser across the Scomis Hosted Platform.
Inevitably there are some small differences, so we've written this article to show you how to work with the four main ones. Hope it helps! |
